At See Me Grow and Learn, we believe community is an important part of growing and learning! We love bringing our families and teachers together through fun events held throughout the year. These special moments give everyone a chance to connect, build friendships, and create lasting memories—helping our SMGL community feel like one big family. Explore a few of our favorites below!
Trunk-or-Treat
Every October, we host our annual Meet the Teachers Trunk-or-Treat, a favorite SMGL tradition! Our staff members and local community businesses decorate their trunks and pass out goody bags filled with donated treats to each child. As your little one visits each trunk and families get to know our amazing teachers, the fun continues with a special trip to our on-site pumpkin patch, where each child gets to pick out and take home their very own pumpkin.
Pot-Luck Dinner
Every November, we gather for our annual SMGL Pot-Luck Dinner at River Rand Bowl! See Me Grow and Learn provides a delicious, juicy turkey, and families sign up to bring their own favorite dishes to share. With bowling lanes reserved just for our community, families can enjoy great food, bowl together, and spend quality time getting to know one another and our amazing staff in a fun, relaxed setting.
Family Reading Night
Every January, we celebrate our love of reading and literacy with Family Reading Night! Families travel from room to room to hear wonderful stories and enjoy a fun, hands-on craft with their child. In the gym, our PaperPie Book Fair gives families the chance to explore new books, while treats and coloring pages make the evening even more special. It’s a cozy, interactive night designed to share the joy of reading and create lasting memories with our SMGL community.
