About Our Infant Program

 

From the moment they're born, babies run the show—and at See Me Grow and Learn, we wouldn’t have it any other way! Our Infant Program in the Purple Room is built entirely around the individualized needs of each child. From bottles and naps to diaper changes and cuddles, your baby sets the schedule.

We use the Tadpoles app to provide a digital daily report, giving you a clear and timely overview of your child’s day, including:

• Diaper changes (every 2 hours)

• Bottles (as needed, following your child's feeding plan)

• Meals (as your baby begins purees or table foods)

• Naps (on your baby's personal schedule)

• Adorable photos throughout the day

• Weekly Lesson Plans

• Monthly Newsletters

We supply formula at no additional cost for families who choose to use it, and we warmly support our breastfeeding moms. The Purple Room is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer to store both freshly pumped and frozen breast milk safely.

 

Learning Through Love and Play

 

While we provide individualized care, we also begin laying the foundation for growth and development through simple, engaging lessons. Our nurturing environment helps your child grow from a beautiful baby into a curious toddler through play-based exploration in areas such as:

• Gross Motor Development

         We encourage movement through plenty of tummy time, baby yoga, mats, and boppy pillows—           all designed to strengthen muscles in the neck, back, core, and legs.

• Sensory Play

        Infants learn by using all their senses. Our activities include safe and stimulating sensory                           experiences, from touch-and-feel books to taste-safe "mud," helping little ones explore textures,             sounds, sights, and more.

• Language Development

        From coos to first words, we nurture early communication by reading books, singing songs, and              introducing sign language to help infants connect their needs with language.

• Fine Motor Skills

        Even the smallest motions matter. Activities such as grasping, shaking rattles, and reaching help          build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in a fun and safe way.

       We also include Creative Exploration, Music & Movement, and Social-Emotional Learning to                     support all areas of infant development.

Purple Room Goals

By the time your child is ready to leave the Purple Room, they’ll be growing into a confident toddler! Our goal is to support children in reaching important developmental milestones such as:

• Walking independently

• Using sounds and simple words

• Transitioning to a school-based meal and nap schedule

• Being ready socially and developmentally for the toddler classroom.​

How We Support Growth

Our experienced teachers design guided learning activities and provide one-on-one attention throughout the day. They also collaborate closely with the toddler room teachers to ensure a smooth and successful transition when your child is ready for their next adventure.
