About our program:

From the moment they are born, infants become the boss of the house. The same is here at See Me Grow and Learn. Our Infant Program is completely individualized care based on your child's needs. From bottles to naps and diaper changes, your child is the boss in our Purple Room!

We offer a digital daily note via the Tadpoles app that will provide you with a chronological breakdown of your child's day, including the following:

• Diaper changes (every 2 hours)

• Bottles (to your child's needs)

• Meals (when your baby is on purees or table foods)

• Naps (as your child requires them)

• Adorable pictures.

SMGL provides formula (if desired) at no additional cost. We are also very supportive of our nursing moms. A refrigerator/freezer in the room allows up to store frozen or freshly pumped milk.

Our Purple Room not only offers individualized care, we also plan lessons that help develop each child to grow from beautiful babies to terrific toddlers! Some of our lessons focus on:

 

• Gross Motor: A huge part of infant development is their gross motor development. We help encourage the infants by giving plenty of tummy time opportunities as well as using baby yoga moves, mats and boppy pillows to encourage growth of baby's muscles in their neck, back, core and legs. 

• Sensory Play: Infants use ALL their senses to explore the world! We provide infant friendly sensory exploration. From touch and feel books to taste safe "mud", we find ways for infants to explore new textures, smells, sounds and sights!

• Language Development: Infants use their voices to communicate their needs and as they get older, we want to help them associate those needs with words. Through books, songs, and signs we encourage language every day. 

• Fine Motor Development: Infants grow their fine motor skills in everything they do. From tight little grip around your finger to swiching a rattle from one hand to the next. We provide safe, fun activities that help build muscles and hand-eye coordination.

We also offer Creative Exploration, Social and Emotional Development, as well as Music and Movement.

Goals:

By the end of their time in the Purple Room, your infant will have grown into a Toddler! In order to be ready for the Toddler adventures the children will be walking, making sounds and saying some words, on the school meal and nap schedule, and ready to take on the next challenge!

 

How we achieve this:

Our teachers all plan guided learning activities and set time for one on one interactions with children to help achieve this. They work closely with the teachers in the next room to make sure they children are ready to go on!
