See Me Grow and Learn Red Room (Pre-K)

About Our Program:
We know that finding the right Pre-K program for your child can be a big decision. At See Me Grow and Learn, we are committed to preparing your child for kindergarten and beyond through fun, hands-on learning experiences. Play is not only enjoyable for children—it’s how they learn best. Through thoughtfully planned activities, your child will grow across all areas of development. For example:
-
Block Play: More than just stacking! Block play encourages creativity, teaches cause and effect, introduces colors and patterns, promotes early math skills like counting, and supports hand-eye coordination.
-
Sensory Play: Through exploration of textures, smells, and sounds, children engage their senses and develop curiosity. Sensory play helps children ask questions, build vocabulary, and make connections with the world around them.
-
Books: Story time sparks imagination and builds early literacy. Children begin to understand story structure, recognize letters and sounds, and engage in rich language experiences with teachers and peers.
-
Fine Motor Exploration: Activities such as play-doh sculpting, scissor practice, coloring, and early writing help children build the muscles in their hands. These activities also support creativity and early math through patterning, one-to-one correspondence, and sequencing.

Literacy Development:
One of our key goals in Pre-K is to help children build strong early literacy skills. Our classroom fosters a love of reading and supports children as they begin to recognize and understand:
-
Letter recognition and letter sounds
-
Phonemic awareness (rhyming, beginning sounds, syllables)
-
Sight words (such as the, and, can, go, etc.)
-
Sounding out simple words using basic phonics strategies
We make literacy interactive and fun through books, songs, group reading, games, and writing activities—laying the foundation for confident, capable readers.
Goals:
Our goal is for each child to be fully ready for Kindergarten. At the start of the year, teachers assess each student to understand their individual needs. Lessons are then tailored to challenge and support every learner. At the end of the school year, we provide annual evaluations to reflect on the progress each child has made in all areas of development.
How We Achieve This:
Our experienced teachers design guided learning activities, create structured and meaningful routines, and dedicate time for one-on-one interactions each day. These personal connections and small group moments help ensure every child feels supported, confident, and ready to take on the next step in their learning journey.
